As a naturopathic doctor, Dr. Cooluris combines the diagnostic skills of a primary care doctor with individualized, diverse treatment approaches to address the root causes of health issues. Dr. Cooluris practices Integrative Family Medicine with expertise in women's health, chronic illness, complex digestive disorders, fatigue, correcting hormone imbalance, complementary cancer care, autoimmunity, allergies, and food sensitivities. Dedicated to optimal quality of care, she provides a comprehensive, compassionate and a positive healthcare experience that includes her commitment to helping patients understand their health conditions. She works with patients of all ages who have acute or chronic issues from a bothersome cough to chronic hypertension.

Dr. Cooluris invests time in understanding the multitude of perspectives in all her patients' health concerns physically, mentally, emotionally, genetically, and spiritually. Through the combination of a thorough history, physical exam, and appropriate laboratory tests, she partners with her patients to provide a tailored treatment plan that can vary from dietary and lifestyle recommendations to innovative 'cutting-edge' therapies of alternative medicine. Dr. Cooluris's individualized treatment plans integrate modern science with traditional natural approaches to yield exceptional results. Although she specializes in botanical medicine, her additional areas of expertise include clinical nutrition, functional medicine, homeopathy, craniosacral therapy, hydrotherapy, counseling, and pharmaceutical prescriptions when necessary.

Dr. Cooluris offers integrative gynecology care to women of all ages including annual exams. It is her belief that a women's Annual Wellness exam is an opportunity for her overall health management as well as gynecological needs. Dr. Cooluris's approach to women's health empowers women of all ages, especially adolescents coming for their first exam, to gain confidence addressing their health concerns with their physician. The annual visit includes a discussion of past and current health concerns, a physical exam including breast exam, Pap smear, and a treatment plan integrating natural and conventional medicine if needed. She also offers specialized management for abnormal pap smears, gynecological infections, fibrocystic breast syndrome, PCOS, menstrual disorders, fertility issues, integrative breast and cervical cancer care, endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain. She is available to prescribe hormones as necessary for hormone balancing or birth control.

Dr. Cooluris is a licensed Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. She completed her training, family practice residency, and served as adjunct faculty at Bastyr University, the nation's leading university of natural medicine. One of six clinicians nationally chosen as a Bastyr resident, she received extensive advanced training in naturopathic primary care, women's health, hormone balancing, alternative oncology care, botanical medicine, and adolescent health. Her background includes a diversity of medical settings from hospitals to busy family practices, homeless youth and women's health centers to providing medical relief in third world countries. She has been a frequent guest lecturer at Bastyr University in the Botanical Medicine Department and is an avid educator in her profession.
