Colon Hydrotherapy (Colonic)

Colon Hydrotherapy (Colonic)

Colonic irrigation, also known as Colonic Hydrotherapy, is a safe and effective method of cleansing the colon by continuous gentle flushing with warm carbon filtered and UV light purified water under very low pressure.

Colon Hydrotherapy has many benefits. It can remove accumulated waste from the colon, clearing the way for good nutrient absorption. If waste remains in the body for too long, it becomes a breeding ground for bacteria and illness. It can help relieve constipation. When constipation is chronic, it causes a sluggish digestive response, which in turn leaves waste in the system longer. This increases the likelihood that toxins will be released into the bloodstream. This can also cause other irritations, such as hemorrhoids and varicose veins.

  1. 1
Why should I use Colon Hydrotherapy?

In addition to the benefits mentioned above, Colon Hydrotherapy helps the body’s absorption of vitamins and nutrients, relieve bloating, wind, heartburn, and bad breath, as well as decrease the risk of colon cancer and aids the body in detoxification. Colon Hydrotherapy is also helpful in preparation for a colonoscopy or sigmoidoscopy, increase your energy, and help with more restful sleep.

  2. 2
What conditions can Colon Hydrotherapy treat?

Colon Hydrotherapy can help treat constipation, bloating, wind, heartburn, bad breath, and poor nutrient absorption. It can also help aid in detoxification and reduce the risk of colon cancer.

  3. 3
How often will I need a treatment?

The amount of treatments needed varies greatly between individuals and his/her condition. Often times, waste is so well clogged and hard in the colon that it may take a series of colonics to sufficiently soften and loosen the accumulated fecal matter.

When we clean out the colon, the body starts pulling waste out of the tissue and putting it into the blood stream. The waste then heads to the liver and then back to the colon. Therefore, the second colon hydrotherapy session is necessary so that the digested waste is eliminated and rinsed out rather than being reabsorbed. Once your colon has had a series of cleansings, your body will tell you when and how often you need to get additional colonics to maintain a healthy internal environment.

  7. 7
How much time does a treatment take?

Sessions generally take 35 to 45 minutes. Please plan on an additional 10 minutes for changing your clothing and time after the water is turned off to release all of the water from your colon.

  8. 8
How can I prepare for my appointment?

Please prepare the day before your session by drinking a few liters of water throughout the day to ensure that you are well-hydrated for your session. Please do not eat 3 hours before your appointment. If you have an appointment before noon, then eating some fruit is fine.

After your session, it is recommended that you eat very light, pure and easy to digest foods, for the remainder of the day. Try to stay away from raw, overly rich, heavy foods. You have just cleansed your system and we suggest that you allow your body the time it needs to rest and relax, so it can go to work to heal you, rather than go to work digesting rich meals.

  9. 9
    Is it safe?

Yes, Colon Hydrotherapy is safe. The practice of colon cleansing began in the ancient times in Egypt, as early as 1500 BC. Medical documents known as the “Eber Papyrus” reference enemas and colon hydrotherapy being used by physicians to treat fever. The ancient Greeks also used colonic irrigation to remove toxins for those with disease.
