Private Sessions with Dr. Norman Suhu Available at Gordon Medical

We also are now going to be offering private sessions with Dr. Suhu at Gordon Medical on Friday July 29th. Call the office at (707) 575-5180 to schedule.

Dr. Norman SuhuDr. Norman SuHu leads two clinics that are truly precious gems in the New York City metropolitan region. His clinics are the only ones in New York City that are certified to offer the Carroll Food Intolerance Evaluation. As a result he has developed a special niche in the nutrition world and receives referrals literally from around the world. He works in collaboration with other unique health professionals in the New York area to provide comprehensive care.

Among the other services offered, Dr SuHu is also one of a handful of other practitioners who offer biosyntonie treatments (you can find 3 of his trainees offering biosyntonie at Gordon Medical) and protective devices. This is a specialized form of energy vibration medicine that normalizes biorhythmic patterns and neuroendocrine functions. Modern technology of computers, refrigeration, air travel, etc. provides convenience and efficiency but carries a double edge sword. Biosyntonie protection devices and treatments also help protect one’s environment and person from the hazards of these modern technologies.

Dr SuHu’s latest research revisits the naturopathic concept of nature cure. Any naturally occurring substance, even in its crude raw form, can be useful for its therapeutic energetic properties. For example, ordinary pantry items such as salt, spring water, olive oil, can be used effectively to enhance the healing energy of a living and work space. Sea shells can be utilized to create a therapeutic ambiance and enhance the balance of the chakras and emotions. Wood can be utilized to enhance the circulation of healing energy in the body. Truly, nature provides endless gifts of healing.

Energy Alignment and Healing with Dr. Norman Suhu

In modern times, reliance on technology has created a disconnect with nature and thus human intuitive and psychic connection with nature. The Importance of Vulnerability in Treatment

Lauren Gordon-FahnBy Lauren Gordon-Fahn, L.Ac.

In living we gather wounds, both physical and emotional, many of which we heal, others we learn to live with. There are some pains that partially fade, come and go, but we carry the remnants, the bits and pieces that don’t go away.  As a patient, and as a practitioner, I have come to believe many parts of us can be healed more deeply than we have allowed. The human body is designed [Read more…]

The Simple Man’s Medicine- Talking to One’s Self

Lauren Gordon-FahnBy Lauren Gordon-Fahn, L.Ac.

The message is out there. Clear, honest communication is the best way to maintain and sustain a healthy relationship with those we love. Presumably, we can only offer others what we have offered ourselves first. So, here is an interesting crossroads between two popular advice offerings. If we open loving dialogue with our intimates, then is it not time to offer the same kindness and healing to ourselves? What am I suggesting? Exploring the power of conversing with our Self!

That is correct. Perhaps talking to our Self is [Read more…]

Biosyntonie Workshops July 25 and 26, 2015

Dr,. Norman Suhu, ND, LAc, MSby Dr. Norman Suhu

Biosyntonie is a energetic system of healing that complements other energy modalities such as acupuncture, qigong, Reiki, osteopathy, and homeopathy.  I had practiced primarily acupuncture, homeopathy and nutritional therapeutics prior to adopting Biosyntonie in my practice 8 years ago.  Since then I have witnessed extraordinary benefits from its use in my practice and now I utilize this form of healing with 90 percent of my patients for a wide range of complaints including anxiety, mood swings, pain syndromes, acute strains, digestive disturbances, menstrual complaints, depression, insomnia, and many other complaints.

Biosyntonie enhances the physical and spiritual wellbeing of a person by realigning all of one’s biorhythmic functions with the subtle energetic cycles found in nature.  This is achieved by utilizing environmental harmonization devices that keep one synchronized with nature while in the home, work space, sleep area, etc; energy alignment devices to enhance the practice of qigong, tai chi, yoga, etc; and treatment devices that rapidly inform specific or general organ systems with the natural frequencies that promote recovery of health and wellbeing. Healing and Recovery

By Mara Williams ANP

A few months ago I participated in a ‘think tank’ with 21 providers who are searching for ways to help those with tick borne disease (TBD) recover and heal. Much science was discussed. Ways to impact the detox and methylation pathways were mentioned for example. But what stood out the most for me was something that Dr. Lee Cowden said, reminding me once again that it is essential to heal the traumas, negative experiences, or unpleasant memories. Dr. Cowden started talking about the different places in our physical bodies that we keep issues. He reminded me to always consider including in my assessment the emotional aspects of each area in the body that hurts. Pain is there to inform us.

OUR WEEKEND WITH STEPHEN BUHNER

We were fortunate that most of our GMA providers were able to have the opportunity to enjoy Stephen Buhner’s presentations November 2nd and 3rd on Herbal Antibiotics/Herbal Antivirals. Having studied his books and used his supplements for over a decade, I was expecting a fact-laden, didactic power point presentation covering the material in his latest books. Boy was I wrong!
