Marilyn Graham doing Live Blood Analysis – Maggie Perkins 2017

If it can’t move, it would be happier if it could.

That’s one way Marilyn Graham sums up her philosophy of healing. At every level, a person’s well-being can increase when something previously held in a static position starts to move, becoming more fluid, flexible and responsive to stimuli. Think of a stiff joint, sluggish lymph flow, or a chronic injury that has yet to fully resolve. Consider an old trauma easily awakened or a long-standing habit that persists for no good reason. All of these issues can benefit when more movement – another choice – is introduced. [Read more…]

Learn What Frequency Specific Microcurrent Can Do For You – February 22. 6-8 PM

For patients interested in learning how FSM treatment might help them.

Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) is a new system of treatment, a refinement of microcurrent technology – tiny “doses” of electrical energy – and uses very specific frequencies of energy applied to the body to create beneficial changes in symptoms and health. In addition to helping with pain, it changes emotional states and improves health. This class will introduce FSM, demonstrate how it is used, and include a live demo of the technology.

The Resonance Effect – New Book on Frequency Specific Microcurrent by Dr. Carol McMakin

The Resonance Effect

“The Resonance Effect” describes the development of a new medical therapy, called Frequency Specific Microcurrent, that uses frequencies resurrected from the 1920’s to reduce pain, scarring and inflammation, change emotional states and improve health. At the same time it tells the powerful story of what happens to your world when you listen to the sometimes quiet sound of your own inner guidance.

I am so excited that Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) founder Carol McMakin has written a new book, ‘The Resonance Effect.”  This book is written for the public, making FSM information accessible to patients. This will be a wonderful opportunity to understand more about how this technique works.

As one of GMA’s body techs I use FSM nearly every day as [Read more…]

Frequency Specific Microcurrent: A Versatile New Tool for Healing

The Cutting Edge of Health and Wellness Today

Friday, November 21, at 2 PM Pacific

Frequency Specific Microcurrent: A Versatile New Tool for Healing

Today we will be talking with Dr. Carolyn McMakin, who developed Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM), an electrical device which has the capacity to treat a wide variety of medical conditions safely and effectively. We will review the remarkable research which demonstrates the effectiveness of FSM in treating patients with fibromyalgia and myofascial pain and discuss how it can be used for other medical disorders, some of which have been resistant to more traditional forms of treatment.

Touch for the Sensitive Patient

By Julie Galvan, CMT

Healing through touch

Many of the patients at Gordon Medical are very sensitive.  Some are extremely sensitive.  Some in a way that they are extremely ‘energetically’ sensitive.  What the tendency to do is for us bodyworkers to work them very gently – almost not touching the body.  They seem so frail that to really just touch them seems like it might be too much for them.  Some of these patients have had the experience of someone doing an energetic healing on their aura or have a Reiki type session.  While they may have enjoyed the session, they felt much worse afterwards.

What I’ve learned  over and over from this kind of patient is what they need is real physical touch.  With gentleness getting into the muscles, even connecting into the bones.  I can only guess why this is the case.  My guess is that they need help being more physical – they are too much is in the energetic body.  It would be ideal for these people to have someone in their life who can do this direct and respectful physical touch into the muscles on a daily basis as well as having someone do it professionally once in a while.  That professional can teach the person at home what to do.  I know of nothing that is more powerful than touch.  If you are using Frequency Specific Microcurrent, the frequencies I would suggest are those addressing emotional factors (including past or very deep emotions),  allergy reactions,  damaged tissue, and and tissue that is frozen and needs a “reboot”, focused  in the muscles.

Frequency Specific Microcurrent as Adjunct Treatment for Lyme Disease – Practical Application

The second part of the presentation from the Advanced Training in the use of Frequency Specific Microcurrent.

Frequency Specific Microcurrent as an Adjunct Treatment for Lyme Disease – Intro to Lyme

The following videos are from the February 2012 Advanced Training for practitioners of FSM, or Frequency Specific Microcurrent. Dr. Nathan and Julie Galvan, from Gordon Medical, spoke about the techniques used in the GMA offices. These first two sections contain Dr. Nathan’s introduction on Lyme disease. The videos on the practical application of microcurrent are here.

Treating Lyme Disease with Frequency Specific Microcurrent

Gordon Medical finds that Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) is a very useful modality in treating Lyme disease. Patients have a lot of questions about how works, and how it can be used. FSM  is an exciting new way of treating nerve and muscle pain and many other conditions using specific frequencies and micro amperage current. The practitioner applies the current using a battery operated unit with lead wires that attach to gloves, probes, or sticky pads that are then applied to the patient’s skin. Skilled practitioners use their knowledge of specific frequencies, along with the distinctive change in tissue that happens in the body when the right frequency is used.

Treatment can be done by a practitioner in a medical office, or may be prescribed for the patient to use at home with custom programmed units. Patients should always be well hydrated before treatment in order to best conduct the current, and to have a better chance of being able to detox any toxins that are released with the treatment.

Eric Gordon, MD and Julie Galvan, CMT, recorded this informal discussion about some of the issues they see in treatment of chronic Lyme patients. It won’t answer all of your questions, but will give an idea of how it is used in this office.
